Looking for an exciting and rewarding school holiday activity for your child? The Ridelines Kids Camp Mountain Bike Course is the perfect way to build riding confidence, improve bike handling, and have serious fun on the trails – all in a safe, supportive environment.
This three-day non-residential course is expertly designed for young riders who want to learn proper mountain biking techniques while enjoying time outdoors with like-minded kids. Our instructors are not only highly experienced but also brilliant at working with children, ensuring they stay engaged, challenged and safe every step of the way.
What to Expect:
Day 1 – Core Techniques:
We start by assessing each rider and placing them in a suitable group. The focus is on foundational mountain biking techniques – balance, braking, body position and bike control – essential for safe and confident riding.
Day 2 – Technical Skills:
Building on day one, we introduce more technical trail features. Your child will learn how to handle corners, small drops, and trail obstacles, helping them ride with more precision and flow.
Day 3 – Flow and Fun:
The final day is all about putting it all together with fun trail rides and challenges. This session consolidates new skills and boosts trail confidence, leaving kids proud of what they’ve achieved and excited to ride more.

Can’t speak highly enough of the team. My son had fun, was brimming with confidence, had picked up some really good riding habits, and best of all was totally knackered at the end. Definitely coming back.
Izzy Styles –
These guys are the best of the best! Kids camp is absolutely amazing, so many happy smiles and I’m certain that we’ll keep coming back for years to come!
Richard Fryatt –
I’m actually blown away by how good these guys are. My son is always super reluctant to join any group but was made to feel at ease from the very start. He’s gone from a complete novice to enjoying some pretty technical riding, in days (we took on Spooky Woods last night) The equipment safety checks are extremely thorough and nothing is too much of a problem to be fixed on the spot. Genuinely nice people.
Tyne Lovell-Henderson –
My son had a fantastic 3 days on the trails! He was unsure initially, but came home after day 1 asking to return next year. Thank you for being understanding and inclusive – Also a special thanks to Allan for listening and reassuring us prior to the course starting. We will definitely see you again next year

My son has just completed his 5th Ridelines camp and once again had a fantastic time. He always gains new skills and loves every minute of it!
